Le Street art autrement : une passerelle vers la mode et la distinction sociale

Sarra Ladouz
الملخص

Street art has a language and signs of recognition that translate into a style of dress against the mainstream and a revolt against social and moral codes. when the concern for appearance, distinction, and novelty becomes a daily social preoccupation that appears in individuals' behaviour, it can lead to a culture of consumption; individuals are encouraged to pursue fashion trends by wanting to possess extravagant objects that set them apart from others. To achieve this goal, fashion companies exploit the talents of street artists in their clothing collections to attract consumers. Through the fusion between street art and fashion, the shop window has become a strategic communication tool to market clothing collections and implicitly the works of street art. It is a good strategy to attract eyes for brands by exploiting the popularity of a fashionable phenomenon by excellence.
